She was predeceased by: her spouse Arne Aadland; her parents, Thomas Mikkelsen and Teodora Mikkelsen (Dagfinsen); her child Per Aadland; and her brother Martin Mikkelsen.
She is survived by: her children, Torunn Linda Chase (Barry Chase) of Fairhaven and Terje Aadland (Regina) of Lutz, FL; her brothers, Kaare of Washington, Egil Mikkelsen of Washington and Tor Mikkelsen of Norway; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Erik, Zachary Aadland, Tanya Oldham, Andrew and Olivia Chase. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Magnhild's name to the Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 16 Temple Pl, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
