She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufino "Ralph" Moniz and Maria Natalia Moniz (Neto); her sibling John; and also Mary Macedo. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Tavares (Kathleen) of Stuart, FL, Ronald Tavares of Acushnet, James Tavares (JoAnne Foody) of New Hope, PA, Rosemary Aubut (Wilfred) of North Ft, Barbara Davis (John) of Fairhaven and Theresa Dawson (Paul) of Fairhaven; her siblings, Judith Davis of New Bedford, Elvira "Vera" Correia of Dartmouth, Joe, Joseph Moniz and Alice Arruda; and also, Ralph, Gloria, Caroline, Mario, Henry and Jordan Moniz. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
