It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecelia E. Thatcher (Fairhaven, Massachusetts), who passed away on December 19, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ellsworth Sylvaria. She is survived by: her spouse George R. Thatcher, Sr.; her parent Elizabeth Sylvaria (Herring); her children, George R. Thatcher, Jr. (Cindy) of Fairhaven, Bruce A. Thatcher (Jennifer) of New Bedford, Thomas I. Thatcher (Marcie) of Fairhaven, Sean P. Thatcher (Jennifer) of Fairhaven and Elaine M. Robichaud (Scott) of Fairhaven; and her siblings, Ellsworth Sylvaria (JoJo) of Fairhaven, Eileen Sylvaria of Fairhaven and Cheryl Sbardella (Anthony) of New Bedford. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
