He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawence Basteri and Mady Basteri (Martini); and his brother Stephen Basteri of Melrose. He is survived by: his wife Michelle M. (Sordello); his children, Richard W. Basteri, Jr. (Vitaliia), Carolina, Carley Basteri of Stoneham, Nicholas Basteri and Joseph Basteri of Everett; his siblings, Lawrence Basteri of Lowell, Robert Basteri of Melrose, Elizabeth Nasson of Lexington, Judith Basteri of Reading, Kathleen Crowley of Reading and Christine Maestri of Lexington; his grandchild Lucca Basteri; and his parents-in-law, George and Theresa Sordello of Melrose.
Due to the current restrictions placed on all of us because of COVID-19, services will be held for the immediate family with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
