He was predeceased by: his son Joseph F. L. Curnane. He is survived by: his wife Donna Curnane (DiRocco); his daughter Denise C. Curnane; his grandson Dante Curnane; and his siblings, Joan Gurliaccio (Jean Pasciuti), Vito D'Errico, Carmella D'Errico and Ronald Curnane (Pam D'Errico). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
