He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Lindheimer and Edith Lindheimer; and his sister Elinor Pravda. He is survived by: his children, Tammy, Ron Sadok, David, Lauren Lindheimer, Jessica and Stephen Quirk; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Benjamin, Joseph, Elana, Mia, Sophie, John and Jennifer. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to HIAS or Martha's Vineyard Hebrew Center.
