He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne Hicks and Louise Hicks (Richardson); his grandson William F. Hicks Jr.; and his siblings, William Campbell Hicks, Arthur Hicks, Burton Hicks, Melbourne Hicks and Louise Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Frank; his children, Donna Randall (Gerald), Barbara Carlson, William F. Hicks, Norman Hicks (Marie Goodwin) and David Hicks (Mary Pomeroy); and his grandchildren, Holly Randall Maki, Todd Randall, Shawn Raymond, Lynn Tandy, Hilary Howard, Danny, Christopher Hicks, Timothy, Matthew, Kristin Hicks, Meredith, Darren and Devin Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
