He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian Leighton (Walker) and Edward Leighton; his siblings, Valda and Donald; his wife Joan Elizabeth Low (Looker); and his children, Janine Beal (Robert), Christopher Low (Jann), Carolyn Spicer (Michael), Douglas, Abigail, Samuel, Sarah and Charles Raymond. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
