He was predeceased by: his child Nancy Young; and his siblings, Roger, Phil, Warren, Gordon, Marguerite, Marie and Bernice.
He is survived by: his spouse Jacqueline O. Young (Osborne); his children, Laurie A. Gagne (Michael) of South Dartmouth and Thomas A. Young (Karen) of Halifax; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Heather Gagne, Lucas and Kelly Young. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
