It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Stanley Shaffaval of Danvers, Massachusetts, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shaffaval and Stacia Shaffaval (Galuska); his siblings, Carol Papparella, Sandra Lee and Joseph Shaffaval; and his sister-in-law Irene Shaffaval.
He is survived by: his children, Karen St. Pierre (Duke) of Danvers and Todd Shaffaval (Sonya) of Danvers; his grandchildren, Kevin, Kaelie, Erin St. Pierre, Mikayla and Madelyn Shaffaval; and his former wife Maureen Shaffaval (Lynch) of Danvers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
