We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 86, John Hart Terrell in Concord, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Terrell (Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Mary Terrell-Poulos (Nick Poulos) of Berlin and Shawn Christopher Terrell (Kaeti Elizabeth Miller); his grandchildren, Otis Scot Terrell and Ruby Mae Terrell of Washington, DC; his daughter Tracy Helen Terrell; his granddaughters, Valerie and Julia Machado; his children, Alison Hart and Luis Scot Booth of Alameda; his brother William; his sister-in-law Julie Terrell; and his children, Jan, Eric and Lynn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Southern Poverty Law Center (http://www.splcenter.org), a catalyst for racial justice and beyond, working in partnership with communities to dismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectional movements, and advance human rights of all people.
