She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco W. Acosta; her daughters, Maritza Garcia and Rita Lopez; her grandson Nicholas Diaz; her siblings, Reina Castro, George Castro and Bienvenido Castro; and her parents, Juan Bautista and Rogelia Castro.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Acosta (Joselina), Juan Acosta (Clara Diaz), Maximo Acosta (Critabel), Luis Acosta (Naomi), Maria Frias (Peter) and Ramon Acosta (Iris); and her grandchildren, Allison, Laura, Michael, Timothy, Cristy, Melissa, Caesar, Tatiana, Martin, Pedro, Eva, Marisol, Morel, Helene, Linda, Omar, Marissa, Marisita, Alberto, Alex, Priscilla, Joe and David. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
