He was predeceased by: his brother Ernest Sherman, Jr.; and his parent Ernest Sherman. He is survived by: his spouse Joanne Sherman (DeSalvio); his children, Jonathan Sherman of Cherry Valley, Janet Buckley of Leicester and Cheryl Ann Knapton of Auburn; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Jennifer, Jessica, Matthew, Nicole and Angela; and his parent Selma Rose Sherman (Morrison). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
