He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brigida De Carmen Ayala; his parents, Lucia Otilia Arias Viuda of Melendez and Angel Melendez; and his children, Juana Arias (De Madrid) of Chelsea, Sonia Arias (Flores) of Chelsea, Juan P. Arias (Kenya Burgos) of Chelsea and Patricia Arias (Ralphael Ayala) of Revere. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
