It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher L. Smith of Chelsea, Massachusetts, born in Hardwick, Vermont, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his close friend Cynthia Velleca; his children, Zach of Chelsea, Ethan of Chelsea and Hailey Smith of Chelsea; and his siblings, Bill, Danny, Alex, Eric, Connie and Virginia Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chris's name be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Foundation at the addresses listed below.
