It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Marie Leonard of Chelsea, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence T. Leonard; and her parents, Anthony D. Melchione and Marie C. Melchione (Bonimano). She is survived by: her daughters, Laurene A. Palladino of North Hampton, NH, Lisa Leonard of Chelsea, Lynne Ann Leonard of Chelsea and Lydia Leonard of Chelsea; her sisters, Lillian Cahill (late Patrick) of Roslindale, Rosalie Castellano of Wilmington and Elaine Twitchell (James) of Ipswich; her grandchildren, Kristin Marie Thompson (MacGregor) and Andreas Leonard-Calcano; and her great grandchild Peyton Jaymes Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Chelsea Public Library, 569 Broadway, Chelsea 02150.
