Janice L. Lupo Obituary

Janice L. (Earlywine) Lupo, age 88, passed away on September 22, 2023, in Burlington, MA. She was born on April 26, 1935, to Roland I. Earlywine and Dorothy J. (Silva) Earlywine in Long Beach, CA.

Janice was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She adored her family and cherished every moment spent with them. Janice had fond memories of growing up in Gloucester, where she enjoyed playing at the oval and swimming down the river. She loved being part of the large Silva family full of aunts, uncles and cousins where there was plenty of love and laughter.

Janice is survived by her daughters Susan Mione-McCabe and husband John, Paula Mione, Linda Roach, Marcia Lang and husband Harry. She is survived by her grandchildren Christopher Crowell, Sara Sanfilippo and husband Nino, David Osier, Jr and wife Elizabeth, granddaughter and godchild Desiree Roach, Olivia and Sophia Fuller. Great grandchildren Peter and Andrew Crowell, Logan, Lola and Liv Hannah, Dominic Sims, Gianni Melo and Nino Sanfilippo. Two half-brothers, Allen and Kenneth Earlywine. Janice was preceded in death by her grandson Peter Osier, granddaughter Lindsay Osier and son-in-law Kevin Crowell.

Janice dedicated herself to raising her children and later she worked at Captain Courageous, Strong Leather and retired from the Building Center Gift Shop.

A celebration of life for Janice will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Inc., One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
