He is survived by: his wife Yan Yos; his sister Peou Bolanos; his daughter Sophany Yao; his son-in-law Titou Kim; his daughter Sophana Bun; his son-in-law Michael Bun; his sons, Kosal Yao (Solida Than), Sopheak Yao (Sameth Roeurm) and David Yao; and his daughter-in-law Trang Le. He is also survived by his wife, 5 children, 5 son and daughter-in-law, and 16 grandchildren and a younger sister.
