He is survived by: his wife Irena Bernadeau; and his children, Matheus, Milia, Molière, Denis, Roselene, Andrée, Jocelene, Anaud, Jacqueline and Gisele. He is also survived by his 46 grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and several dozen nieces and nephews.
