He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Rodriguez of Kurs and Luis Kurs Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Kurs (Morales) of Brockton, MA.; his siblings, Rolando Kurs of Miramar and Nelsy Villanueva (Kurs) of Dorchester, MA.; his sons, Luis Kurs III and Carlos A. Kurs; his great grandchild Elijah Vega; his pet Prince; and also, Maria Vega, Raymond Sierra, Juan Sierra, Elizabeth Gil (Sierra) and Noel Sierra. He is also survived by Papa who leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
