With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida Mae Lang of Brockton, Massachusetts, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida Mae Lang to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Alexander Hagler and Luther Nathaniel Hagler; her children, Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Noreen Sims; her adoptive son Donelle Jones; and her brothers, James and Eugene Monroe.

She is survived by: her sister Amy Thomas; and her children, Veronica Hagler, Cheryl Clifton, Gennara Sims and Robert Sims. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Her involvement in various outreach programs, charity initiatives, and community organizations was a testament to her belief in the power of faith to transform lives.
