He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Adelle Hammond (Stern); his sons, Jay Hammond of Germany, Steven Hammond, Michael Hammond of Braintree and Mark Hammond; and his siblings, Billy Hammond and Gene Hammond. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
