It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn A (Thomson) Sweeney in Boxborough, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert "Red" Sweeney; her pet Duke; her parents, Anna Thomson and Robert Thomson of Dorchester; her children, Cheryl Satryb (Robert) of Dracut, Theresa Sweeney-Krystof (Richard Krystof) of North Conway, Patricia Sweeney (Jeff Herd) of Maynard, Michael Sweeney (late Amy) of Boxborough and Robert Sweeney Jr. (Angela) of North Andover; her brothers, Robert and Kevin Thomson; her grandchildren, Tammie Carr, Stefanie Karpinski, Robert Satryb, Kayla, Shannon Perkins, Ryan, Patrick, Connor, Anna and Jack Sweeney; and her great grandchildren, Gregory, Chad Carr, Ryan and Skylar Karpinski. She was also cherished by friends and extended family.

Due to pandemic restrictions, attendance at the funeral is private.
