It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Kirby in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Kirby and Estelle Kirby (Dziob); his sister Linda Kane; his nephew Michael Kane (Dianna); his niece Jennifer Morris (William); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah Morris, Brenna Kane and Colin Morris; and his friends, Richard Ward, Daniel O'Neill, Rob Harlow, Richard "Ozzie" Walsh, Rich Goodhue and Ed Hanlon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
