She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Williams (Smith) and Edward Murray. She is survived by: her children, Denise, Byron, Dana and Bobby; her grandchildren, James, Jessica, Monyque, Demariana (Mari), Bobby Jr. Nyja and Henry; her great grandchildren, Jayda, James, Tiara and Pheonix; her sister-in-law Mildred Murray; and her nieces and nephews, Edward Jr., Shalonda, Mark and Chrissy. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and cousins.
