He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Schacht and Helen Schacht (Bartholf); his spouse Beverley (Shelton); and his sister Dorothy Monson. He is survived by: his children, Donald Schacht (Cheryl) of Beverly and Michelle Schacht (Hiromi); his sister Ann Sangren of Woburn; and his grandchildren, Connor and Victoria Schacht of Beverly.
