She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery T. Nelson and Edith Nelson (Anderson); her husband John L. Checchi, Jr.; and her daughter Cathy Checchi. She is survived by: her son Barry Checchi (Darlene); her grandchildren, Tara Giardina (Mark), Brett Rogers (Kimberley), Jenna Gibilaro (Eugene) of Winter Park, FL and John L. Checchi, III (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, Elyssa, Haylee Rogers, Maximus, Thaddius, Lazarus Giardina, Joseph, John Gibilaro, Adriana and Jack Checchi.
