He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mitchelson and Frances Mitchelson (Losier); and his brother Bruce Mitchelson. He is survived by: his wife Olga; his children, Mark and Alexandra; his son-in-law Brian; and his grandchildren, Helen, Charlotte, Evelyn and Andrew.
