He was predeceased by: his sisters, Isabelle Hober (Vaitkunas) and Ruth Skrip (Vaitkunas); and his parents, John Vaitkunas and Petronella Vaitkunas (Aranskas). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Vaitkuna (Lazutka); his children, Richard Vaitkunas, Jo-Ann Rogers of Dudley, Patricia "Trish" Pratt (Tom) of Clermont, FL, John "Jack" Vaitkunas (Pam) of Auburn, Caryn Warren (Dana) of Ocala, FL and Lynn Ruderman (Scott St); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Jennifer, Thomas, Michael, Dale, Tyler (Shauni), Joel (Kristine), Amanda (Stephen), Allison (Jonathan), Ashley and Jeffrey. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
