He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Lee Galarneau (Welton); his parents, Oliver J. Galarneau, Sr. and Florence (Messier) of Pawtucket, RI.; and his siblings, Jeannette (Albert Pare) of Pawtucket, Claire (Robert Jeffrey) of Attleboro and Omer Galarneau (Connie) of Cumberland, RI..
He is survived by: his children, Todd and Lisa Galarneau of Saugus, MA.; and his grandchildren, Adam Duderewicz of Central Falls, RI, Craig, Kristen Silverman of Milford, MA, Brittany and Nicholas. He is also survived by his dad, brother and uncles.
