She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Smith and Margaret Smith (Casey); and her siblings, Lawrence, Joseph Smith, Marie Brown and Cecelia Ransom (Trento "Nino" Montagna).
She is survived by: her spouse Nino Montagna; her daughter Diane Hale; her son-in-law Carl Hale of Westfield, MA; her daughter Margaret Sterczala of Agawam, MA; her grandchildren, Derrick, Melchorita Hale, Jonathan, Chrystal Hale, Nicholas Sterczala and Charleen Hale; and her great grandchildren, Daniella, Charlotte, Ziyana and Aviella.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking any donations be made to Baystate Health Foundation, Hospice Care, 280 Chestnut St. Springfield MA 01199.
