Katherine Metzidakis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Metzidakis of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Ontario, who passed away on July 6, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stamatios Vlazakis and Rhodo Vlazakis (Malaxianakis); her husband Steve Metzidakis; her sons, John (Susan), Stamos (Sara) and George of Niantic, CT; her grandchildren, Gregory Metzidakis, Julia Metzidakis (Daniel Terk), Katina Metzidakis (Renzo Anfossi) and William Metzidakis (Colleen); her great grandchildren, Eli, Stella, Renzo, Ana Sofia and William; her sister Loula Markakis; her nieces, Ekaterina Markakis and Marichrysa Markakis; her nephew Markos Markakis; her sister Marika Gregorakis of Chania; and her daughter-in-law Jane Metzidakis. She was also cherished by extended family members and friends.
