He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Maher and Pearl Maher (Sherman); and his brother Fred Mahar. He is survived by: his wife Gail Maher of Springfield; his children, Matthew Maher of Palmer and Kathryn McLain (Philip) of Sicklerville, NJ; his stepdaughter Kelly Robbins (Greg) of Palmer; his siblings, Richard Mahar of West Springfield, David Mahar of Chicopee and Kathleen Bauer of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Quinn, Daniel, Cora, Zachary and Olivia.
