With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald J. Wheeler of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Wheeler and Marion Wheeler (Mosher); and his daughter Debra Hartmann. He is survived by: his wife Denise Wheeler (Brunet); his children, Donald Wheeler (Carol), Susan Shea (Patrick), David Wheeler and Carol Burns (Joseph); his stepchildren, Lisa Laudato, James Laudato (Kristen) and David Laudato (Felicity); and his sister Barbara Lane (Donald). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
