She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacy Anton and Helen Anton (Kiczek); her husband Robert Markland; and her siblings, Stephanie McShane Pratt, Mildred Patryn, Edward Anton, Arthur Anton and Joseph Anton.
She is survived by: her children, Jerome Markland (Sue) of Thompson, CT, Jeffrey Markland of North Adams, John Markland (Kelly) of Pittsfield, Randy Markland (Eileen) of Windsor, MA, Joseph Markland of Quincy, MA, David Markland (Claudia) of Amherst, MA and Mary Cancilla (David) of Lanesborough, MA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
