She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Berndt; her parents, Rhinehard Barz and Erna Barz; her son James Berndt; her son-in-law Charlie Case; her siblings, Delores Dobson (Don), Donald Barz and David Barz; and her siblings-in-law, Miriam Salefske (Elgart), Norman Berndt (Adeline) and Lylas Berndt (Bernice).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Berndt Case and Terry Berndt; her daughter-in-law Carol Westfall Berndt; her grandchildren, Tim Case, Chris Berndt (Sunshine) and Melissa Pregler (Joe); her great grandchildren, Ellen Mondeik, Lauren Case, Kennedy Berndt, Liberty Berndt, Jordan Pregler and Jaxon Pregler; and her sister-in-law Kay Roberts (Mic). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
