She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heywood and Katherine Heywood (Godek); and her daughter Brenda Skalski. She is survived by: her husband Victor J. Bednarz; her children, John Bednarz (Karen) of Adams, Julie Russell (Mark) of Holden, Jennifer Quinn of West Boylston and Vicki Shipley (Steven) of Bristol, VA; her son-in-law David Skalski of North Adams; and her stepbrother Martin Magdalenski (Ulrike) of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
