She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddeus Sheahan and Mary Dorice Sheahan (Storey). She is survived by: her husband William E. McHugh; her children, Jean Findley (Tom) of Hingham, William E. McHugh, Jr. and Navy; her grandchildren, Margaret Impellizeri of Long Island, NY, Elizabeth Findley of Middleton, Patrick Findley of Hingham, Ashley Ryan McHugh, William E. McHugh, III of San Francisco, CA, Emma Tichner of Lebanon, NH and Benjamin Tichner of Lebanon, NH; her great grandchild Anthony "Tony" Impellizeri; and her sisters, Deidre Rowles of Holliston and Kathleen Falvey of Sherborn.

Maureen continued to serve the community as chair for the Outreach Committee coordinating and leading donation activities for local charities.
