It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernell Magee Evans (Zachary, Louisiana), who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Woody Evans; her son Jerry Evans; her son-in-law Jim Fowler; and her parents, John David and Jeanette Magee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Baudouin (Buddy) and Susan Fowler; her daughter-in-law Sue Evans; her sister Mildred Graves; her brother-in-law Roy Evans (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Steve, Scott Baudouin (Lauren), Stefani Sullivan (Corey), Jeremy Evans, Robert and Jim Peavy (Trudy). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
