She is survived by: her sons, Claude Edward Deweese III (Laura) of Zachary and John Chalk Deweese of Alexandria; her sister Manning Chalk Pharis of Meridian, MS; her grandchildren, Sarah Granger, Nathan Deweese, Jaron Martin and Mary Deweese; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Meredith, Thomas Granger and Griffin Ogaard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
