He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel John, Sr. and Bertha Wand Plaisance. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Davis Plaisance; his children, Tammy Plaisance Roberts (Joe), Debbie Householder (Scott), Sandy Jones (John), John D. Plaisance, Daniel Christopher Plaisance (Emily) and Samuel Michael Plaisance (Shanna); his siblings, Sonny Plaisance, Irene Taylor, Clyde Plaisance, Brenda Baker, Glenda Baker (Jimmy), Chris Plaisance and Dorothy Guy; his siblings-in-law, Sonny Guy, Ed Taylor, Mary Plaisance and Sarah Plaisance; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne Hewitt, Matthew Plaisance, Christina Plaisance and Monet Plaisance. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
