He was predeceased by: his parents, David R. McHugh, Jr. and Barbara M. McHugh; and his sisters, Ann McHugh Barbin (G. Joe Barbin) and Jacqueline McHugh. He is survived by: his wife Jo Lynette (Smith); his children, Jeff McHugh, Jenny Knight (John) and Janet Arnold (Keith); his brothers, David R. McHugh III (Cathy) and Tom Ed McHugh (Betty); his grandchildren, Carrie Knight, Collin Knight, Calyn Knight, Jewel Arnold Ogle, Keith Arnold, Jr., Ezra McHugh, Benjamin McHugh, Micah McHugh and Michaela McHugh; and his great grandchildren, Alysa Leteff, Harper Leteff, Jaxson Ogle and Madeleine McHugh.
