She was predeceased by: her husband T. N. "Sonny" Samuel; her parents, Leon J. Ellzey and Gladys Ellzey; and her parents-in-law, T. N. "Tom" Samuel II and Lula Mae Samuel.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Dunaway (Daryl), Edie Jagielski (Albert), Jill McGraw, Molly Turner (Buddy) and W. Brook Samuel (Sharon); her siblings, Sandra Bates (Billy), Lynda Page, Missy Burton (Larry) and Leon Ellzey (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Thomas Dunaway, Daryl Dunaway Jr., David Dunaway, T. Brook Samuel, Stephen Samuel, Steven Jagielski, Stacy Page, Jason McGraw, Chris McGraw, Cody McGraw, Megan Turner and Macie Turner. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
