He was predeceased by: his mother Dora Simmons Alford; and his brother Jerry Alford. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughter Daddyboy; his children-in-law, Dana and Kevin Taylor; his daughters, Angie (Kenneth Blanchard) and Shelly (Aubrey Pourciau); and his grandchildren, Ashley Garrett (Cole), Blake Taylor (Kristen), Shawn Blanchard (Stephanie), Kacie Pourciau (Tyler), Jonathan and Matthew Pourciau.
