It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Stubbs Hanna (Zachary, Louisiana), born in Pride, Louisiana, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert D. Hanna; her parents, Denmund Stubbs and Pauline Glotz Stubbs; her brothers, A. J. Stubbs and A. D.; and her granddaughters, Melissa Hanna and Stephanie Hanna Acaldo.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hanna Hofmeester (Barry), Brent (Jeanie Hanna), Gordon (Karen Hanna) and Ricky (Sue Hanna); her granddaughters, Blayr Hofmeester Drumm (Nathan) and Shawna Hanna; her sisters, Aline Newman, Gladys Almond and Eunice Toney; and her sister-in-law Mattie Bell Stubbs. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 22834 Liberty Rd. Pride, LA 70770.
