He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Wall Appleton and Glenn Eugene Appleton. He is survived by: his wife Florio LeRouge Appleton; his children, Chip Merlin Appleton (Sara Scott), Glenn (Beth Thieler Appleton) and Richard; his grandchildren, Brandon Appleton, Austin Appleton, Ryan Appleton, Regan Appleton, Jack Appleton and Kate Appleton; and his sisters, Ruth Appleton Degrado (Joe Degrado), Mary Ludie Appleton Baker, Marguerite Appleton Ritchey and Betty Lu Mclellan (Rudy Mclellan).
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
