With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Mack Jr. (Zachary, Louisiana), born in Dequincy, Louisiana, who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Jacob Mack; his parents, Cornelia Mack and Herbert Laney Mack; and his sister Zelda Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his family Baton Rouge; his children, Betsy (David Boeckman), Carol (Tom Cook), Pat (Dan Smith), Jill Jarreau, Mitzi (Ronnie Dinecola) and Lane (Lynda Mack); his great grandchildren, Eric, Mallory Boeckman, Jenn, Justin Stafford, Katie, Trey Williams, Taylor, Drew Whittaker, Tricia Smith, Stephen, Holly Smith, Tim Smith, Lizzy Evans, Corey, Melissa Jarreau, Megan, John Uhle, Allie Jarreau, Rip, Morgan Dinecola, Lanie, Jacob Shimerdla, Herb and Maddie Mack; and also, Scott, Paula Swilley, Ricky and Beth Braud.
