She was predeceased by: her husband George Godfrey Townsend; her parents, John Prentice White and Virginia Bates White; and her sister Billie Fay White. She is survived by: her children, Helen Diane Townsend Spohrer (John), Jeffrey Craig Townsend (Paulette) and George Barry Townsend.
