He is survived by: his wife Betty Allen McKowen; his children, Douglas McKowen Jr. (Amy) and T'niel; his grandchildren, Parker, McKayla, Owen, Caitlyn and Sean; his brother Greg (Georgie); and his friend Hewitt Townsend. He is also survived by his family and friends.
