With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Otto Shaffer Jr. (Zachary, Louisiana), who passed away on April 25, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Donald Otto Shaffer, Sr.; and his sister Summer Savoy. He is survived by: his mother Marion "Faye" Annison Shaffer; his wife Sandra "Sue" Shaffer; his children, Joshua Shaffer (Gloria), Daniel (Brooke), Michael (Faith) and Cristiana McKey (Cale); his grandchildren, Zahara Shaffer, Jolene Shaffer, Elijah Shaffer, Hadassah Shaffer, Gabriella Shaffer, Judah Shaffer, Isaiah Shaffer and Zariah Shaffer; and his siblings, Jen Andrews and John Shaffer. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to MTI School of Ministry to help continue the work to which he devoted his life.
